About Pleasant Pet Mobile Vet

At Pleasant Pet Mobile Vet, our mission is simple: to bring high-quality preventive veterinary care directly to your doorstep. By providing in-home veterinary visits, we create a calm and familiar environment where pets feel safe and relaxed.

Our mobile service is ideal for anxious pets who struggle with traditional veterinary clinics, multi-pet households that need convenient care for several animals, and busy families who prefer to avoid long wait times and stressful trips to the vet. With Pleasant Pet Mobile Vet, your pet receives personalized, compassionate care—right in the comfort of home.

The client–doctor–patient relationship is very important to us. Our appointments are intentionally longer than a typical clinic visit so you have the time to ask questions, discuss concerns, and fully understand your pet’s health before we leave.

During your in-home visit, we can perform routine diagnostics such as blood work, urinalysis, and other basic testing to support your pet’s preventive care. Because we are a mobile veterinary service, some specialty diagnostics and treatments are limited. Our services are best suited for pets with minor health concerns and those healthy enough to receive routine preventive care and vaccinations.

Please note that mobile wellness visits are not intended for pets experiencing more serious symptoms such as vomiting or diarrhea, which may require immediate or advanced care at a full-service veterinary hospital.

Dr. Kristen Pleasants

Thank you for visiting the Pleasant Pet Mobile Vet website! My name is Dr. Kristen Pleasants, and I’m the veterinarian who will be coming to your home to care for your beloved pets. During every visit, your pet will receive a comprehensive nose-to-tail physical exam, and we’ll take the time to answer all of your questions and discuss any concerns you may have.
I was born in Tequesta and raised in Martin County, making me a lifelong local to the Treasure Coast. Although I left the area for several years to pursue my education, I always knew I would return home to serve the community I love. My passion for animals began while growing up on a farm and continued to grow as I volunteered at a local animal shelter and discovered my interest in veterinary medicine.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of South Florida in Tampa. I then attended St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed my clinical training at the University of Florida.
Throughout my career, I have seen firsthand how beneficial in-home veterinary care can be for both pets and their families. Pets are often much less stressed when they can be examined in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by familiar sights, sounds, and smells instead of a busy veterinary hospital environment.
I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members and helping them live long, happy, and healthy lives.
